According to 7news.com.au, the lovable brown bear is soon returning to our Aussie screens.

“Plans to revive the iconic bear were revealed on Thursday, when it was announced the brand’s owners would be pitching a live action-CGI hybrid version of the show,” the news outlet reported.

Former host of the show and Bachelorette Ali Oetjen spoke to WHO about her chances of returning to the silver screen with the big bear, telling the publication:

“I’d love to sing and dance with kids again. It’s such genuine fun, and to see their souls light up – it’d be a pleasure to be around that energy again.”

The rebooted show will be pitched to the higher-ups this October, so fingers crossed all goes well for our much-loved Humphrey.
