Sonya and Hadil were asked to leave My Kitchen Rules on Thursday night after a vicious war of words escalated between them and fellow contestants Jess and Emma.

The women criticised the way Jess and Emma looked, before attacking the other contestants, calling them “disrespectful a—holes” and threatening: “we’ll come for you … don’t you worry.”

Since then, the pair have revealed the vile messages and death threats received from trolls.

“Thank you to all of those who have sent us supportive messages,” they wrote.

“As for the people attacking and criticising us, it’s time to name and shame. Enough is enough.”

Messages included:

“Go kill yourselves”

“I’ve been hearing lately how many people want to kick your f***ing head in. Maybe it will make you look better.”

“What the actual f**k is wrong with you demented retards”

“And Sonya ya fat, and hadil you genuinely look like a rabbit”

“You look like 40 year old hookers”

We’ve said it before but we’ll say it again, death threats and bullying are not cool.

Yesterday, the pair apologised for their outburst, but accused Channel Seven of ‘twisting, provoking and fuelling’ the situation for ratings:

“Like any reality TV show, no one but the people on-set filming 10-14 hour days know exactly what goes on behind the tears, the tension, the smiles, the reactions & the words exchanged.

“We will not apologise to the network who twisted, provoked and fuelled this entire situation. We do however wish to apologise to the viewers for having to witness and endure the situation which should have never been allowed to go to air. We wish the remaining teams in the competition the best of luck. Sonya & Hadil x”
